About Us at Victorian Cards
Designing Handmade Greeting Cards
Photos of Making Greeting Cards
Thanks for stopping by. Read on to learn a little about me (Jeanne) and my family.
My husband Dale and I live in Lakeway, Texas (just outside of Austin). We are originally
from Minnesota, but we have lived in Texas since 1981. I have been buying and selling antiques and collectibles on the internet for seven years and also have had a couple of booths at antique malls.
I started out selling on eBay and then moved on to having my own web sites.
The old Victorian postcards from the early 1900s are special to me. I have been
collecting them for a while now and enjoy making them into beautiful handmade
greeting cards. Since I have made so many of these handmade greeting cards, I
decided I needed an outlet to sell them. That is how Victorian Cards was started.
I have made a large variety of these handmade greeting cards, including
birthday cards, Christmas cards, New Years cards, Thanksgiving cards, Easter cards,
Valentine cards, best wishes cards, unique thank you cards, and cards for most any occasion. Just take a look
at the beautiful vintage postcards that I have used. You just cannot find modern postcards
with the color and design from yesteryear.
I also have a number of other web sites that you might be interested in. I
sell antiques and collectibles at
Attic Shoppe. I
also sell handmade knit scarves, vintage craft books, and old sewing patterns
and accessories at
My Vintage
Crafts. We also have two websites where You can purchase quality
health and beauty products and
gift and incentive albums. Take a few minutes to check them out!
If you like old recipes, take a look at my recipe blog. When I think of antiques and collectibles, I also think of old-fashioned
cooking and the
old-time recipes I have collected over the last 40 years or so. Check them
out - most recipes are quick and easy to make!
We have two grown children and four grandchildren! Our daughter is a curriculum developer in Ft. Worth and makes and sells
doggie items at The Swanky Pooch, and our son is an
attorney in Dallas specializing in mesothelioma.
