How old are your Victorian postcards?

Each vintage postcard is a different age. Most are circa 1910 - some earlier and some slightly later. If I know the exact age of the postcard, I mark it on the back of the greeting card. If I don't know the exact age, I simply mark it circa 1910.

Why send a handmade greeting card?

These handmade greeting cards are more than just a greeting card - they are a gift. The vintage postcard is easily removed from the greeting card and can be saved as a reminder of that special person. I like to decorate with these unique postcards and frame them as a wall decoration or a shelf decoration.

Are all the greeting cards the same price?

Yes, all our handmade greeting cards are $5.97.

Are the greeting cards made in the United States?

Yes, they are all made by me in Lakeway, Texas.

Are the cards really handmade?

Absolutely! I make each greeting card by hand.

Do these handmade cards smell like smoke?

No. My home is both smoke free and animal free, so the paper items do not smell from smoke or animals.

What kind of service can I expect?

Our goal at Victorian Cards is to have happy, repeat customers. Customer service comes first. All questions are answered promptly. Fast shipment is guaranteed.

Is my personal information safe?

Victorian Cards takes your privacy seriously. We will not disclose your personal information or any other information you may provide. We may send you notices of special sales. Please let us know if you do not want to receive these notices. For additional information, see our Privacy Policy.

PayPal uses a secure server to collect your credit card information. Here is more information about PayPal's internet security. I do not see your credit card information.

What is your return policy?

We at Victorian Cards want you to be delighted with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your selection of handmade greeting cards, you may return them in their original condition within 10 days. We will refund the purchase price or exchange them, whichever you prefer. Original shipping fees and PayPal fees are non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by the receipt.

My product was damaged during shipment. What do I do?

If an insured item is damaged during shipment, contact us immediately and we will send you the insurance receipt. Simply take the item to the USPS to file a claim. Make sure to take along the insurance receipt and the packaging materials.

If you are not sure what to do, simply contact us. Do NOT send back a damaged item because that will void the insurance. Instead, you must file an insurance claim as soon as possible.

If your insured item never arrives and you believe it was lost in the mail, please contact us. We will send you your insurance receipt, and you can take it to the USPS to file a claim.

If your item was not insured and it arrives damaged or is lost in the mail, there is no way to recoup your expenses. Just remember, insurance is optional, but recommended.

Are you secret-pal friendly?

Victorian Cards is proud to be a secret pal, secret sister, and otherwise secret gift friendly site. If you are a secret pal, you can be sure your secret is safe with us. We will ship your greeting card or gift package anonymously to your secret pal, secret sister, or secret friend, and she will never know who sent it!

In PayPal, click on the link "Add special instructions for the merchant." In the box that displays on the left side of the screen, simply mention that your purchase is for your secret pal. Be sure to specify your secret-pal's mailing address, and let me know the message you want written in the inside of the greeting card. We'll take care of the rest!
