Most of these vintage handkerchiefs were purchased at estate sales. One day I
went to an estate sale where the lady had collected hundreds of hankies - many
of them had never been used. I bought the nicest ones! I always watch for
vintage hankies when I attend estate sales. My grandmother always used this type
of hanky, and they remind me of her. Whenever it was time for a gift, she always
wanted me to buy her a package of beautiful hankies.
